Early Childhood
Resident children ages birth through three may qualify for Early Intervention services. Families seeking Early Intervention services may contact Family Resources (Woonsocket) at 401.766.0900.
Resident children ages 3-5 may be screened annually at no charge to families for any suspected disabilities through Child Outreach. North Smithfield's Child Outreach Coordinator, Maureen Ciotola may be reached at Northwest Special Education at 401.647.7560.
Screens are completed for all resident children aged 3-5 years old in the areas of Development, Speech, Vision, and Hearing.
