Graduation and Course Credit Requirements

The following are the phased-in course credit requirements for graduation. Beginning with the Class of 2007, students must earn a minimum of twenty-seven and 1/2 credits to graduate from North Smithfield Junior - Senior High School:

*Beginning with the Class of 2007, students will also be required to earn a minimum of 4 credits in the areas of Foreign Language, Fine Arts, and Career and Technical Arts (FCS, Business, and Technology Education.) Additional credits may be earned with electives in other areas such as English, Social Studies, Science, Foreign Languages, Computer, Music, Career and Technical Arts, and PE/Health.
